Welder Fitter Tig / Mig
K-zell Metals, Inc. is looking for skilled TIG / MIG Welder Fitters, who like being challenged to produce high quality work, and appreciate having the right equipment to do the job with. Applicants must have at least 5 years experience. You must also be able to read prints and do your own layout. Materials range in thickness from 24 gage to 1/2"Plate. Material types include Aluminum, Carbon steel, Stainless Steel and Bronzes.

Estimator / Inside Sales
5+ years experience in estimating shop labor & material takeoffs for sheet metal fabrication. Experience in estimating Laser and Turret Punch work a plus. Must have excellent computer skills.

2D Draftsman
2+ years experience in CAD / Manual drafting required. Candidates must have a working knowledge of AutoCAD, Visual CAD, and Solidworks. Knowledge of metal cutting / forming / welding a plus. Prefer experience in sheet metal fabrication.

Mechanical Design Engineer
K-zell Metals, Inc. is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop detail designs for large industrial evaporative coolers. Applicants must have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional experience and must have at least 2 years experience designing large sheet metal enclosures and structures. Ideal candidate will have experience in designing for cost effective manufacture and be familiar with design and configuration control. Must be able to take conceptual sketches and turn them quickly into detailed designs providing sufficient information to support shop fabrication. Experience with plumbing and electrical assemblies a plus. Candidates also must be competent and proficient using Solidworks, or Visual Cadd.

CNC Programer / Drafter
K-zell Metals, Inc. is looking for an CNC Programer / Drafter. Applicants must have at least 2 years experience programing CNC Lasers, Turret Punches and Plasma cutters. Experience with Bystronic BySoft programing software a plus . Candidates also must be competent using Solidworks, AutoCad or Visual Cadd.
Experience in industrial sheet metal a definite asset.

Design / Project Engineer
This position is expected to function both independently and contribute as a member of the Engineering and Production team. This person will manage multiple design and fabrication projects as well as developing preliminary designs as well as fabrication drawings of AZEVAP HVAC equipment from conceptual design information and design criteria. This design engineering shall take into account structural stability, sheet metal fabrication, heat transfer and fluid flow, and cost.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project planning, scheduling, resource / subcontractor coordination, and Materials Resource Management using the shop ProfitFab software and Gantt and PERT charts
- Development and Maintenance of Bill of Materials and Drawing Trees for AZEVAP Products
- Update and Maintenance of Engineering, Fabrication, and Test processes consistent with AZEVAP Quality Assurance
- Development of preliminary design models and drawings in Solidworks including fabrication drawings of AZEVAP HVAC equipment from conceptual design information and design criteria.
- Composition of design reports tracking issues identified and dispositioned through design, fabrication, and operational experience review.
- Conduct and documentation of stress and stability analysis of AZEVAP HVAC cooler design.
- Conduct and documentation of component and system heat transfer and fluid flow analysis.
Requirements
- Demonstrated project planning and management experience
- Effective technical writer
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent with emphasis in heat transfer and fluid flow
- Demonstrated Experience and Proficient in: Project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project
- Use of Solidworks in design and creation of flat pattern and assembly drawings
- Weld joint design and use of weld symbols
- Structural stability design in sheet metal structures and components
- Calculation of pressure loss in HVAC ducting, components, & buildings
- Heat transfer and building temperature profile calculations
- Psychrometrics & psychrometric chart use
- Heat transfer and fluid flow of air in finned tube and flat plate heat exchangers
